Helport AI appoints former U.S. Bank executive to board
Helport AI Limited (NASDAQ: HPAI) announced the appointment of Dr. Yu Pan as an independent director to its board. Pan previously served as Executive Vice President at U.S. Bank.
The company also stated its intention to establish an AI Governance Committee at the board level, with Pan expected to serve as its first chair upon establishment.
Pan brings experience in enterprise governance, global banking operations, compliance systems, operational risk management, and regulated technology deployment, according to the company statement.
Helport AI develops what it calls an "AI Labor System," which the company describes as an industrial-scale platform for manufacturing and delivering AI workforce capacity. The system has been deployed across government services, financial services, mortgage sales, insurance, e-commerce customer support, and consumer finance collections.
"We believe AI Labor will become one of the most important infrastructure layers for the future enterprise economy," said Guanghai Li, CEO of Helport AI. "As AI moves beyond experimental tools into mission-critical enterprise operations, AI governance is becoming increasingly important."
Pan stated that governance is becoming a foundational requirement for enterprise AI adoption, particularly in regulated industries such as banking, insurance, government, and financial services.
