Hapbee Technologies adds Bally Singh to board of directors
Hapbee Technologies Inc. (TSXV: HAPB; OTCQB: HAPBF) appointed Bally Singh to its board of directors, according to a company statement. Singh serves as chairman of Hoko Agency, a marketing firm that has worked with Red Bull, LVMH and DP World.
The Vancouver-based wellness technology company said the appointment supports its plans for brand evolution as it targets growth in the global wellness market. The Global Wellness Institute reports the industry reached $6.8 trillion and projects 7.3% annual growth to $9.8 trillion by 2029.
"Bally's track record of merging technology with high-impact storytelling is exactly what Hapbee needs as we scale globally," said Riz Shah, chairman and CEO of Hapbee. "With Bally on our board, we are uniquely positioned to translate our scientific edge into a technology company and lifestyle brand that resonates globally with the modern consumer."
Singh co-founded Hum(AI)n Assets, a content production platform, and operates from the Middle East. The company said he brings experience in event activation and emerging technology sectors.
Hapbee's board includes NBA player Jaylen Brown as chief innovation officer, along with executives from Infinity Capital and League Capital. The company announced that Kenny Adessky stepped down as director and corporate secretary.
Hapbee develops digital wellness technology using ultra-low radio frequency energy to deliver signals for sleep, focus and relaxation applications. The company markets its products as alternatives to supplements or chemicals.
