Guardant Health partners with Nuvalent for cancer diagnostics development

Guardant Health Inc. (NASDAQ: GH) announced a multi-year collaboration with Nuvalent Inc. (NASDAQ: NUVL) to develop companion diagnostics and support commercialization of targeted cancer therapies using Guardant's tissue and liquid biopsy platform.
The partnership will utilize Guardant's portfolio of tissue and liquid biopsy tests to support Nuvalent's global clinical studies. The companies plan to evaluate opportunities to develop Guardant tissue and liquid biopsy assays as companion diagnostics to support potential regulatory approvals of Nuvalent's investigational candidates.
The collaboration also includes plans for global commercialization of Nuvalent's product candidates, if approved, and Guardant companion diagnostics across major international markets.
Guardant Health operates as a precision oncology company focused on blood and tissue tests for cancer detection and treatment selection. The company was founded in 2012 and provides diagnostic insights across cancer screening, monitoring for recurrence, and treatment selection for advanced cancer patients.
Nuvalent is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing targeted therapies for patients with cancer. The company focuses on kinase targets and is advancing investigational candidates for ROS1-positive, ALK-positive, and HER2-altered non-small cell lung cancer.
