Grindr names John North as CFO effective immediately

Grindr Inc. (NYSE: GRND) announced the appointment of John North as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. North will oversee the company's finance organization, including accounting, treasury, tax, financial planning and analysis, and investor relations.
North brings over 20 years of experience leading high-growth public companies, having served as both CEO and CFO at Fortune 500 and S&P 500 organizations. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Lazydays Holdings (NASDAQ: GORV).
His previous CFO roles include positions at Copart (NASDAQ: CPRT), Avis Budget Group (NASDAQ: CAR), and Lithia & Driveway (NYSE: LAD). North currently serves on the board of XPEL (NASDAQ: XPEL), where he chairs the Compensation Committee and serves as a financial expert on the Audit Committee. He holds CPA and CFA credentials.

Grindr operates a social networking platform with nearly 15 million average monthly active users across 190+ countries and territories. The company is based in West Hollywood, California, with additional offices in the Bay Area, Chicago, and New York.
