GreenDot partners with osapiens for AI-powered EPR compliance software
Agilyx ASA (OSE: AGLX | OTCQX: AGXXF) announced that its majority-held subsidiary GreenDot has formed a strategic partnership with osapiens to develop an AI-powered Extended Producer Responsibility packaging compliance software solution for European markets.
The partnership combines GreenDot's expertise in EPR compliance and packaging licensing across Europe with osapiens' AI-powered platform for sustainable growth. The companies will jointly market the software platform under a revenue sharing agreement.
The solution addresses compliance requirements under the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation by utilizing AI-assisted workflows to collect and verify packaging data automatically. The platform connects directly to national registration systems and EPR schemes through pre-built interfaces, calculates obligations in each European country automatically, and identifies optimal tariff structures across European markets.
"Companies are increasingly concerned about the complexity and cost of administering EPR compliance under the PPWR," said Laurent Auguste, CEO of GreenDot. "Together with osapiens, we are bringing to market the smart digital solution the industry has been calling for."
Stefan Wawrzinek, Co-Founder and Chairman of osapiens, stated that EPR compliance under the PPWR represents one of the most complex cross-border challenges for producers and brand owners across Europe. The partnership aims to provide companies with a solution to manage this complexity efficiently.
The agreement provides GreenDot with high margin growth potential while advancing its existing business offering within the European plastic recycling segment, according to the company's statement.
