GrabAGun begins trading on NYSE under ticker PEW after raising $179M

GrabAGun Digital Holdings Inc. (NYSE: PEW) began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on July 16, 2025, following a transaction that raised over $179 million in gross proceeds, according to a company statement.

The Coppell, Texas-based online firearms and ammunition retailer received over $119 million after secondary proceeds and transaction expenses. The company said it plans to use the funds to expand its online platform and pursue strategic acquisitions.

GrabAGun trades under ticker symbols "PEW" and "PEWW" on the NYSE. The company operates an e-commerce platform selling firearms, ammunition and related accessories with what it describes as a mobile-focused approach.

Chief Executive Marc Nemati said the company is evaluating more than a dozen acquisition opportunities across e-commerce and adjacent categories. The company targets acquisitions that would expand market share and complement its existing platform.

The company announced plans to integrate cryptocurrency and stablecoin payment options across its platform. GrabAGun said it is in discussions to expand payment methods to include digital currencies.

Donald Trump Jr., who serves on the company's board of directors and is an advisor and shareholder, said he supports the company's mission of modernizing the firearms and accessories industry.

GrabAGun cited industry data indicating a $25 billion total addressable market for firearms and accessories in 2024. The company believes it can benefit from what it describes as a generational shift toward online shopping in the firearms industry.

The company works with brands including Smith & Wesson, Sturm Ruger, SIG Sauer, Glock, Springfield Armory and Hornady Manufacturing. GrabAGun describes itself as using proprietary software and AI-driven systems for inventory management and pricing.
