Global Uranium Corp. plans 10-to-1 share consolidation

Global Uranium Corp. (CSE: GURN | OTC: GURFF | FRA: Q3J) announced a proposed consolidation of its common shares on a ten-to-one basis, according to a company statement.



The Calgary-based uranium exploration company currently has 59,158,004 common shares outstanding. If completed, the consolidation would reduce the total issued and outstanding shares to approximately 5,915,800.



The company said it will file the necessary documentation with the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) and will issue a subsequent news release announcing the effective date, along with a new CUSIP and ISIN for the consolidated shares.



No fractional shares will be issued as a result of the consolidation. Fractional interests of one-half or greater will be rounded up to the nearest whole share, while fractional interests below one-half will be rounded down, with no cash consideration paid for shares rounded down.



Global Uranium said it will not be changing its name in connection with the consolidation. The CSE has neither approved nor disapproved the information contained in the company's announcement.
