Galaxy Digital Inc. (NASDAQ: GLXY) announced its integration with Coinbase Prime (NASDAQ: COIN) to provide institutional clients access to staking services through Coinbase's custody platform.
The integration allows Coinbase Prime clients to access Galaxy's staking infrastructure directly through the platform. Galaxy joins a select group of staking providers that Coinbase has integrated into its institutional custody service.
"This Coinbase integration underscores the maturation of the staking ecosystem and the rising demand from institutions for safe, reliable, and scalable digital asset services," said Zane Glauber, Head of Blockchain Infrastructure at Galaxy.
Lewis Han, Head of Staking Sales at Coinbase, stated that "Coinbase is highly selective in its integrations, and Galaxy's scale, expertise, and reliability make them a natural fit as we expand institutional access to staking."
Galaxy reports approximately $6.6 billion in assets under stake as of September 30, 2025. The company provides trading, lending, and liquidity solutions alongside staking services for institutional clients.
This marks Galaxy's fourth custodial integration in 2025, following partnerships with Fireblocks, Zodia Custody, and BitGo. The integrations are supported by GK8, Galaxy's institutional self-custody technology platform.
The information is based on a company press release statement.
