Change in the number of shares owned by the largest shareholder of Shinhan Financial Group

On July 17, 2025, Shinhan Financial Group Co., Ltd. reported that the number of common shares owned by its largest shareholder, Korea’s National Pension Service (“NPS”), decreased from 44,561,909 shares of common stock (representing 8.99%, as of May 2, 2025) to 44,217,945 shares of common stock (representing 9.11%, as of June 30, 2025). This disclosure is based on the results of shareholder registry closing as of June 30, 2025.

Please note that while the number of shares has decreased, the ownership percentage has increased due to a reduction in the total outstanding shares.
