Farmer Mac appoints Nader Pasdar as chief business officer
The Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (NYSE: AGM and AGM.A), known as Farmer Mac, announced the appointment of Nader Pasdar as Executive Vice President and Chief Business Officer, effective Aug. 17, 2026.
Pasdar will report to Zachary N. Carpenter, who previously held the chief business officer role before becoming President and Chief Executive Officer on July 1, 2026.
Pasdar brings more than 25 years of experience in agricultural finance, lending, capital markets, and business leadership. He most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Rabo Securities and as Managing Director and Head of Markets North America for Rabobank, where he oversaw capital markets, sales, trading, business development, and compliance activities across North America.
Earlier in his career at Rabobank, Pasdar was a founding member of the firm's loan syndication team and held roles spanning relationship management, debt capital markets, and wholesale banking.
Pasdar holds an M.B.A. in finance from Boston University's Questrom School of Business and a B.S. in economics from Temple University.
