FactSet expands data platform deal with Scotia Wealth Management
FactSet (NYSE: FDS | NASDAQ: FDS) has announced an expanded partnership with Scotia Wealth Management, a unit of Scotiabank (TSX: BNS | NYSE: BNS), according to a press release issued Oct. 8, 2026.
Under the expanded agreement, advisors, investment professionals, and support staff at Scotia Wealth Management will gain access to FactSet's unified research and intelligence platform, which combines investment research, market data, portfolio analysis, and watchlists into a single interface.
Todd Barnes, Executive Vice President of Canadian Wealth Management Investment Advisory at Scotia Wealth Management, said the partnership is part of an ongoing effort to develop its advisor platform. "Our partnership with FactSet is an important part of that evolution, introducing powerful capabilities that position us to deliver even more value across our business over time," Barnes said.
Goran Skoko, Chief Revenue Officer at FactSet, said the expansion reflects the strength of the existing relationship between the two firms. "This expansion reflects the strength of a partnership built on trust, performance, and a shared belief that advisors deserve the very best tools available," Skoko said.
The press release did not disclose financial terms of the expanded agreement. Scotiabank reported approximately $1.5 trillion in assets as of July 31, 2026.
