Eve Air Mobility (NYSE: EVEX, EVEXW; B3: EVEB31) announced a framework agreement with Bahrain's Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications during the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum 2025. The agreement aims to develop the country's regulatory and infrastructure systems for electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft operations.

The partnership will establish a testing environment for Advanced Air Mobility systems and develop vertiport infrastructure for eVTOL deployment. The collaboration focuses on zero-emission, low-noise operations and workforce training. Commercial operations are expected to begin in 2028, with international routes planned for 2029.

"Signing this Framework Agreement with the Kingdom of Bahrain represents a historic step in our journey to bring sustainable air mobility to the Middle East," said Johann Bordais, Chief Executive Officer of Eve Air Mobility.

His Excellency the Minister Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa said the agreement demonstrates "Bahrain's firm commitment to establishing the region as a center of excellence for innovation in aviation."

Eve is evaluating routes in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Doha, Istanbul, and Manama for premium shuttle and tourist services. The company's eVTOL aircraft includes features designed for the region's climate, such as UV/IR window protection and microclimate air conditioning.

The aircraft uses a Lift + Cruise design intended to minimize exposure to dust and sand. Eve Air Mobility has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since May 2022 and began trading on the Sao Paulo stock exchange in August 2025.
