Entrée Resources elects new director at annual shareholder meeting
Entrée Resources Ltd. (TSX: ETG; OTCQB: ERLFF) held its annual general meeting on June 18, 2026, at which shareholders approved all matters submitted for a vote, including the election of seven directors.
Richard Williams was elected to the board as a new director, receiving 97.69% of votes cast. Williams is a Professional Geologist with a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology from Portsmouth University and a master's degree in Mineral Exploration from Queen's University, Ontario. He is the principal of RDW Consulting Ltd. and currently serves as CEO of Winshear Metals Corp. (TSX-V: WINS). He previously served as CEO of Cornish Metals PLC for nine years until March 2024 and has more than 35 years of experience in the mining and mineral exploration sector, primarily in southern Africa, Central and South America, and the United Kingdom.
The six other directors re-elected were Chris Adams, Teresa Conway, Alan Edwards, Allan Moss, Paula Rogers, and Stephen Scott, each receiving between 97.69% and 97.78% of votes in favor.
Shareholders also re-appointed Davidson & Company LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants, as the company's auditors for the coming year. The company's Stock Option Plan was renewed, authorizing the granting of options under the plan until June 18, 2029.
