EnWave signs license deal with Australian growers association

EnWave Corporation (TSX-V: ENW) announced it signed a royalty-bearing commercial license with Bowen Gumlu Grower's Association, an industry body representing horticultural growers in North Queensland, Australia.

The association purchased a 10kW REV™ dehydration machine from EnWave's Australian reseller Scitek to develop and manufacture tropical fruit snacks and ingredients. The equipment is expected to be commissioned before April 2026.

Bowen Gumlu Grower's Association represents growers in a region that produces approximately $650 million AUD worth of winter vegetable crops annually, including tomatoes, capsicum, mangoes, cucurbits, beans and corn. The region employs about 1,500 workers year-round and an additional 2,000 during harvest season.

EnWave's technical teams will collaborate with the association on product development and process optimization. The company stated there is potential for additional equipment sales as the association advances commercialization efforts.

EnWave develops vacuum microwave dehydration technology and has licensed partners across 24 countries. The company's REV™ technology is used in food, pharmaceutical and cannabis industries.
