Elbit Systems wins $350 million tank upgrade contract

Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT) (TASE: ESLT) received a contract valued at approximately $350 million from an international customer to deliver upgrades for main battle tanks, the company announced.
The four-year program includes integration of advanced fire control systems, electric gun and turret drive systems, communication and situational awareness solutions, and a mid-life upgrade package. The contract covers modernization of tank systems to extend service life and enhance combat readiness.
The upgrade program involves replacing and enhancing key onboard systems with lightweight, high-performance electro-optical sights featuring artificial intelligence capabilities for day and night observation, target detection and tracking. The contract also includes spare parts supply and maintenance and technical support services.

The Israel-based defense technology company reported $2.19 billion in revenues for the three months ended March 31, 2026, and an order backlog of $30.2 billion as of that date. Elbit Systems employs over 20,000 people across dozens of countries on five continents.
