Einride partners with Nvidia to expand autonomous trucking platform

Einride AB (Nasdaq: ENRD) announced a collaboration with Nvidia to develop autonomous trucking capabilities using Nvidia's Hyperion platform, according to a company press release dated Sept. 21, 2026.

Einride will adapt the Nvidia DRIVE Hyperion platform — a compute and sensor reference architecture for Level 4 autonomy — for heavy-duty trucking. The collaboration includes integration with the Nvidia Halos safety system and use of Nvidia Cosmos to curate camera data, identify edge cases, and generate synthetic training scenarios for Einride's autonomous-driving models.

Einride currently operates hundreds of electric trucks across the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, including autonomous trucks in active customer deployments. The company projects its fleet will grow to 1,500–2,000 vehicles by 2028, based on existing customer demand. It estimates approximately 80% of that demand is suitable for automation in the medium term.

Einride also intends to deploy Nvidia Blackwell architecture through an Nvidia Exemplar Cloud partner to train and refine its autonomous-driving models.

"We have the customers, the operational experience and the technology. Building the next generation of the Einride Driver on the Nvidia Hyperion platform will enable us to scale autonomous deployment across a freight network that's already serving customers today," said Henrik Green, Chief Technology Officer at Einride.

Rishi Dhall, vice president of automotive at Nvidia, said the collaboration would allow Einride to "accelerate the development and validation of its autonomous-driving technology and scale deployments across its growing freight network."

Einride designs, builds, and operates its autonomous-driving system end-to-end, including safety validation and regulatory approval, while Nvidia provides the underlying compute platform and AI development tools.
