Eightco reports $389M in holdings, repurchases 14M shares

Eightco Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ORBS) disclosed total holdings of approximately $389 million as of August 19, 2026, according to a company press release.

The treasury breakdown includes a $90 million indirect investment in OpenAI through special purpose vehicles, an $18 million equity stake in Beast Industries, a $1 million investment in Mythical Games, approximately 301.97 million Worldcoin (WLD) tokens valued at $0.37 per token, 16,278 Ethereum (ETH), and roughly $132 million in cash and stablecoins.

Eightco also announced it repurchased approximately 14 million shares of common stock over the past two weeks under its previously announced $125 million share repurchase program.

"Our decision to repurchase 14 million shares in the past two weeks reflects the confidence we have in Eightco's strategy, assets and future," said Kevin O'Donnell, Chairman and CEO of Eightco. "We believe these share repurchases are an efficient and effective use of capital and increase shareholder value."

The company states it holds nearly 302 million WLD tokens, representing approximately 8.4% of circulating supply, which it describes as the largest publicly disclosed institutional position globally. WLD is the native token of the World network, a human-verification protocol co-founded by Sam Altman.

Eightco also disclosed participation in the World Foundation's $52.5 million funding round, which was led by Pantera with participation from Bain Capital Crypto, Selini Capital, Susquehanna Crypto, and other investors.

The OpenAI position represents approximately 23% of Eightco's treasury assets, while WLD holdings account for approximately 29% and Beast Industries equity approximately 5%.
