EQV Ventures changes ticker to FTW ahead of Presidio deal
EQV Ventures Acquisition Corp. (NYSE: FTW) changed its ticker symbol from "EQV" to "FTW" on the New York Stock Exchange, effective at the opening of trading November 3, 2025. The company's units and public warrants also changed to "FTW U" and "FTW WS" respectively.
The ticker change precedes EQV's proposed business combination with Presidio Investment Holdings, LLC to form Presidio Production Company. The new entity plans to operate as a dividend-focused oil and gas company managing mature wells with hedged commodity price production.
Following completion of the proposed merger, Presidio Production's common stock and public warrants are expected to trade on the NYSE under the "FTW" and "FTW WS" symbols. The ticker reflects the company's Fort Worth, Texas location.
Presidio Production will focus on existing production optimization and cash flow generation from low-decline, producing assets without future drilling requirements. The company filed a registration statement on Form S-4 with the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 5, 2025.
EQV is a special purpose acquisition company sponsored by EQV Group, which has completed 14 acquisitions and operates more than 1,800 wells across 10 states since its 2022 formation.
