DynaCERT appoints John Amodeo as director

DynaCERT Inc. (TSX: DYA) (OTCQB: DYFSF) (FRA: DMJ) announced the appointment of John Amodeo as a director to its board, according to a company statement.



Amodeo brings over 40 years of business experience, including roles in the North American metals and steel industry. His previous positions include executive vice president and chief financial officer at Samuel, Son & Co., Limited, and similar roles at Samuel Manu-Tech, Inc., Bracknell Corporation, and Molson Breweries. He also worked in the auditing practice at Coopers & Lybrand, Chartered Accountants.



Amodeo holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and attended Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development. He is a member of Chartered Professional Accountants Canada and CPA Ontario.



The company stated that Amodeo's appointment supports its global business development and market strategies for expanding sales of its climate change mitigation products.



"I am very impressed with dynaCERT's mission and its ongoing advancements in hydrogen technology," Amodeo said in the statement. "As a Director, I look forward to helping shape dynaCERT's ongoing business strategy and financial planning."



The company also announced that Wayne Hoffman, former chairman and past lead director, retired at the last annual meeting of shareholders. Hoffman will continue as a consultant to the board.



DynaCERT's board increased from nine to ten directors to accommodate Amodeo's appointment, pursuant to the company's bylaws.



The Toronto-based company manufactures carbon emission reduction technology and proprietary telematics systems designed for use with internal combustion engines in various applications including on-road vehicles, construction equipment, and power generation.
