Domestic Metals starts geophysical program at Smart Creek, plans $3.5M raise

February 4, 2026 7:30 AM EST

Domestic Metals Corp. (TSXV: DMCU) has engaged TMC Geophysics to conduct 27 line-kilometers of induced polarization geophysics at its Smart Creek Project in Montana. The geophysical program will expand historical coverage on the property and refine locations for diamond drilling scheduled for the first and second quarters of 2026.

The company expanded its exploration budget to accommodate additional geophysics and diamond drilling following results from its 2025 surface sampling program. The sampling program returned high-grade results including 102 grams per tonne gold, 74.7 g/t gold with 13.8% copper and 3,810 g/t silver, and 23.1% copper with 424 g/t silver.

Domestic Metals announced a non-brokered private placement of up to 12.5 million units at $0.28 per unit for gross proceeds of up to $3.5 million. Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant. The warrants allow holders to purchase additional shares at $0.40 each for two years from issuance.

"We expanded our exploration budget significantly to accommodate additional geophysics and up to 9,000m of diamond drilling at Smart Creek," said CEO Gord Neal. "This follows the discovery of high-grade mineralization, including up to 102 g/t gold, 23% copper, and 3,810 g/t silver we announced last month."

The warrant expiry may be accelerated if the company's share price on the TSX Venture Exchange equals or exceeds $0.65 for at least 20 consecutive trading days. All securities from the offering are subject to a four-month hold period and closing requires TSXV approval.

The company intends to use net proceeds for exploration at Smart Creek and general working capital. The Smart Creek Project contains widespread copper mineralization and hosts four exploration targets including porphyry copper, epithermal gold, replacement and exotic copper deposits.
