CGI Inc. (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) and Stockmann have expanded their existing partnership through a new agreement that extends CGI's role as the retailer's strategic IT partner, according to a press release statement.

The partnership covers managed IT services and digital development for Stockmann, a retail company that operates as part of Lindex Group plc. The agreement builds on an existing collaboration where CGI has served as Stockmann's primary IT partner, providing cloud transformation, data center services and IT infrastructure management.

Under the expanded agreement, CGI will provide application management, development and end-user services. The services will incorporate artificial intelligence technologies and CGI's DigiOps platform, which uses automation to identify and resolve potential service disruptions.

"Developing a seamless omnichannel customer experience is one of our key strategic priorities," said Riku Lyly, Chief Operating Officer at Stockmann. "Our collaboration with CGI supports this by combining business-driven development with modern technologies."

Peter Jantunen, Vice-President of Retail Services at CGI, stated the agreement reflects trust in CGI's ability to deliver business-critical IT services in the retail sector.

Stockmann operates seven department stores in Finland and the Baltics, along with an online store. The company is part of Lindex Group plc, which is listed on Nasdaq Helsinki and reported turnover of EUR 952 million in 2025.

CGI, founded in 1976, employs 94,000 consultants and professionals globally and reported revenue of CA$15.91 billion in fiscal 2025.
