CEMATRIX Corporation (TSX: CEMX) (OTCQB: CTXXF) announced it has secured $6.9 million in new contract awards, according to a press release statement. The Calgary-based specialty construction contractor produces cellular concrete solutions and operates as a manufacturer and supplier of cellular concrete in North America.

The contracts include both finalized agreements and contracts in process, with most work scheduled for completion in 2026. The awards encompass various applications including load reducing fill for highway improvement and tank base projects, flowable fill for abandonment projects, grout application for tunnel work, and lightweight fill applications across Canada and the United States.

"With this announcement, we have surpassed $50 million in new contract awards for the year," said Randy Boomhour, President and CEO of CEMATRIX Corporation. The executive credited the company's sales team for their efforts and noted that the awards demonstrate customer confidence in the company's ability to deliver geotechnical construction solutions.

CEMATRIX operates through wholly owned subsidiaries including CEMATRIX (Canada) Inc., Chicago-based MixOnSite USA Inc., and Bellingham-based Pacific International Grout Company. The company's cellular concrete is described as a flowable, self-leveling, cement-based material with insulating properties used in various construction applications including lightweight engineered fill, retaining wall fill, and tunnel backfills.

The company trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange and OTCQB markets. CEMATRIX reports having positive EBITDA, positive cash flow from operations, and what it describes as a healthy balance sheet.
