Brenmiller Energy rebrands as BrenX, changes Nasdaq ticker

Brenmiller Energy Ltd. has changed its corporate name to BrenX Ltd. (NASDAQ: BNRG), with the name change taking effect August 11, 2026, following receipt of a certificate from the Israeli Registrar of Companies, according to a company statement.

The company has initiated the process to change its Nasdaq Capital Market ticker symbol to "BRNX," with trading under the new name and ticker expected to begin August 14, 2026. The company's CUSIP number will remain unchanged, and no action is required from shareholders.

The rebrand reflects a stated strategic expansion beyond thermal energy storage into a broader set of industrial energy solutions, including power, heat, storage, and energy optimization. The company's proprietary bGen thermal energy storage technology remains part of its core offering.

The company said it completed construction of a 32 MWh bGen system for Tempo Beverages earlier this year, which has since entered commissioning and operational testing. It also acquired an operating 1.2 MWp solar facility in Hungary and entered into a term sheet to purchase adjacent industrial land and photovoltaic infrastructure assets that could support renewable generation, battery storage, thermal storage, and potential data center infrastructure.

"We built our foundation in thermal energy storage, and that expertise remains at the heart of who we are," said Nir Brenmiller, Chief Executive Officer. "But our customers' energy challenges are broader than storage alone."

The company stated its intention to develop, acquire, own, operate, and optimize energy infrastructure with goals that include recurring revenue and longer-term customer relationships.
