Blue Owl Technology Finance releases 10% of locked-up shares early

Blue Owl Technology Finance Corp. (NYSE: OTF) announced it will release approximately 10% of each shareholder's locked-up shares on September 9, 2025, making 46,513,271 shares freely tradeable ahead of schedule.
The partial early release comes before the first scheduled lock-up period expiration 180 days post-listing. The company's remaining locked-up shares will be released according to a staggered schedule through June 2026.
The release schedule shows 22% of restricted shares becoming available on December 9, 2025, followed by 32% on March 9, 2026, and the final 32% on June 12, 2026. The early release does not affect shares subject to the second or third lock-up periods, which expire at 270 and 365 days post-listing.
"We believe the early lock-up release will enhance liquidity, broaden investor participation and attract interest in our innovative technology strategy," said Craig W. Packer, Chief Executive Officer.
Blue Owl Technology Finance Corp. is a specialty finance company focused on debt and equity investments in U.S. technology companies, particularly software firms. As of June 30, 2025, the company held investments in 184 portfolio companies with an aggregate fair value of $12.7 billion.
The company operates as a business development company under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and is externally managed by Blue Owl Technology Credit Advisors LLC, an affiliate of Blue Owl Capital Inc. (NYSE: OWL).
