Blue Moon Metals to start trading on NASDAQ under BMM ticker

Blue Moon Metals Inc. (TSXV: MOON) announced its common shares will commence trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol "BMM" on January 26. The company will maintain its listings on the TSX Venture Exchange under "MOON" and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under "8SX0" while discontinuing trading on the OTCQX under "BMOOF."

The mining company also appointed Peter Madsen to its board of directors, effective with the Nasdaq listing. Madsen brings over four decades of financial markets experience, having worked at Bear Stearns, Alpha Investment Management, and currently serves as Senior Managing Director at Deer Isle Capital.

"Our Nasdaq listing represents a significant step forward for Blue Moon Metals," said Christian Kargl-Simard, CEO. "It strengthens our presence in the U.S. market and provides additional opportunities to engage with a wider investor base."

The company operates three polymetallic projects: the Nussir copper-gold-silver project and NSG copper-zinc-gold-silver project in Norway, and the Blue Moon zinc-gold-silver-copper project in the United States. Blue Moon is pursuing acquisition of the Springer processing plant in Nevada to process ores from its Blue Moon Mine in Mariposa County, California.

Major shareholders include Oaktree Capital Management, Hartree Partners LP, Wheaton Precious Metals, Altius Minerals Corporation, Baker Steel Resources Trust, LNS and Monial. The company stated it expects the Nasdaq listing to improve liquidity and attract U.S. shareholders during 2026.

Shareholders who purchased shares on OTCQX should monitor their brokerage accounts to ensure holdings are correctly reflected following the Nasdaq listing, according to the company's statement.
