Blade Air Mobility to change name to Strata Critical Medical

August 27, 2025 8:00 AM EDT

Blade Air Mobility Inc. (NASDAQ: BLDE) announced its legal name will change to Strata Critical Medical Inc. on August 28, 2025. The company's stock will begin trading under the ticker symbol "SRTA" on August 29, 2025, with warrants trading as "SRTAW" on the Nasdaq Capital Market.

The name change reflects the company's strategic shift toward providing medical logistics services to hospitals and healthcare providers. This transition follows the previously announced sale of Blade's passenger business to Joby Aviation Inc. (NYSE: JOBY).

The CUSIP numbers for the company's common stock and warrants will remain unchanged. Existing shareholders will not need to take any action related to these changes, and their security holder rights will not be affected.

Blade Air Mobility currently operates air transportation and logistics services for hospitals across the United States, where it serves as one of the largest transporters of human organs for transplant. The company also provides passenger helicopter and fixed-wing services primarily in the Northeast United States, Southern Europe and Western Canada.

The company's website will transition from www.blade.com to www.stratacritical.com beginning August 29, 2025. Blade is based in New York City and operates an asset-light business model with exclusive passenger terminal infrastructure and proprietary technologies.
