BitGo adds three directors with finance and regulatory experience

Digital asset infrastructure company BitGo announced the appointment of three new board members: Brian Brooks, Sunita Parasuraman, and Justin Evans.



Brooks currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Meridian Capital Group and sits on the board of MicroStrategy Inc. (NASDAQ: MSTR). He previously held positions as Acting Comptroller of the Currency, CEO of Binance.US and Bitfury Group, and Chief Legal Officer of Coinbase. Brooks earned degrees from Harvard University and the University of Chicago Law School.



Parasuraman serves as Audit Committee Chair of IREN Limited (NASDAQ: IREN) and as a board member of The Baldwin Group (NASDAQ: BWIN). She previously led Treasury and blockchain initiatives at Meta, including work on the Libra/Diem digital stablecoin project, and held senior financial positions at VMware, Genentech, Apple, and Bloomberg. She holds degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology, University of Pennsylvania, and UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.



Evans currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at KiwiCo, Inc. He was previously Managing Director and Co-Head of Digital Asset Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs, with earlier roles at Barclays, J.P. Morgan, and Belvedere Capital Partners. Evans graduated from Dartmouth College and Stanford University Graduate School of Business.



BitGo CEO and Co-Founder Mike Belshe stated that the appointments bring expertise in corporate finance, digital assets, regulatory policy, accounting, risk governance, and technology to strengthen the company's governance and oversight.



Founded in 2013, BitGo provides custody, wallets, staking, trading, financing, and settlement services for digital assets from regulated cold storage facilities.
