BetterLife Pharma names Doug Drysdale as Executive Chairman
BetterLife Pharma Inc. (CSE: BETR) (OTCQB: BETRF) (FSE: NPAU) announced the appointment of Doug Drysdale as Executive Chairman and Director. Drysdale previously served as CEO of Cybin Inc. (NYSE: CYBN) and has been working as a corporate advisor for BetterLife.
During his tenure at Cybin, Drysdale led the company from molecule inception to Phase 3 trials over three years. The company granted Drysdale stock options to purchase 3,500,000 common shares at an exercise price of $0.065, with monthly vesting over 24 months and a 10-year term.

BetterLife Pharma is a biotechnology company developing BETR-001, a non-hallucinogenic LSD derivative for treating neurological disorders. The drug candidate is currently in preclinical and IND-enabling studies. The company holds a synthesis patent for BETR-001 and has a pending patent for composition and method of use covering treatment of neurological disorders until approximately 2042.
The Vancouver-based company also owns a drug candidate for viral infection treatment and is seeking strategic alternatives for its further development.
