Investing.com -- Better Home&Finance Holding Co (NASDAQ: BETR) stock surged 46% Monday after hedge fund manager Eric Jackson of EMJ Capital posted an extensive analysis on X calling the mortgage technology company "the Shopify of mortgages" with potential for massive growth.

Jackson, who previously highlighted Opendoor before its 1600% rise over the past three months and has led it’s retail investor base, suggested BETR could be a "350-bagger in 2 years" with shares potentially reaching $12,000 compared to Friday’s close of $34.

In his analysis, Jackson claimed Better is rebuilding the $15 trillion mortgage industry using AI technology. He noted that while Figure Technologies (NASDAQ: FIGR) trades at 19 times projected 2026 sales following its recent IPO, Better trades at just 1 times forward sales despite reportedly growing faster.

The hedge fund manager highlighted Better’s AI systems "Betsy" and "Tinman" as key technological advantages that allow the company to operate with 900 employees versus 3,000 previously, while potentially scaling to much higher origination volumes.

Jackson argued Better could reach $12 billion in revenue by 2028 through its direct-to-consumer business, institutional partnerships, and AI licensing. He also suggested potential synergies between Better and Opendoor, where he is also a shareholder.

EMJ Capital disclosed it holds a long position in Better Home&Finance stock.
