Banzai International, Inc. (NASDAQ: BNZI) announced that its board of directors has approved a proposal to change the company's corporate name to Parabolic Technologies, Inc., subject to shareholder approval.

The Seattle-based company said it plans to operate under the doing-business-as name "Parabolic" while the shareholder vote is pending. Its Class A common stock and warrants are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the new ticker symbols PARA and PARAW, respectively, on Aug. 7, 2026, replacing the current symbols BNZI and BNZIW.

The company said it intends to file a proxy statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and will call a special shareholder meeting to vote on the name change proposal.

Alongside the proposed rebranding, the company announced a reorganization into three business units: ConnectAndSell, an AI sales acceleration platform led by Jonti McLaren as president and general manager; Banzai, which will house the Demio and OpenReel products under Matt McCurdy as president and general manager; and CreateStudio, an AI-powered video content creation platform led by general manager David Abrams.

"Our proposed name change to Parabolic represents more than a new brand," said Joe Davy, founder and CEO of Banzai. "This change reflects where we believe the future of software is headed, and the path to strategic growth through investment in high potential businesses."

The company said it has over 150,000 customers, including Amazon, Dell, Salesforce, and Fitch Group, according to the press release.
