BNY (NYSE: BK) announced the integration of Google Cloud's Gemini Enterprise into its enterprise AI platform called Eliza, according to a press release statement.
The integration enables BNY employees to build AI agents that process financial reports, data and historical trends to extract insights. The technology also automates routine data-intensive tasks and provides multimodal features for the bank's global workforce.
"At BNY, our AI strategy is clear: AI for everyone, everywhere and everything," said Sarthak Pattanaik, chief data and AI officer at BNY. "By integrating with Gemini Enterprise, we continue to advance the capabilities embedded into Eliza, deepening the platform's agentic research, integrating data sources more seamlessly and securely and elevating the user experience."
Rohit Bhat, general manager and managing director of Financial Services at Google Cloud, stated that the collaboration represents "the agentic era in finance" by combining Gemini Enterprise with BNY's financial markets expertise.
BNY has used Google Cloud's AI capabilities and continues to leverage Google's models, including Gemini 3 and Veo 3, across its enterprise AI platform. As of September 30, 2025, BNY oversees $57.8 trillion in assets under custody and administration and $2.1 trillion in assets under management.
