Auddia begins development of AI operating system ahead of merger

June 4, 2026 6:00 AM EDT

Auddia Inc. (NASDAQ: AUUD) announced it has engaged Chase J. Thompson as platform architect to begin construction of the McCarthy Finney Operating System (MCFN-OS), an AI-native operating platform planned for the proposed merger between Auddia and Thramann Holdings.

Thompson, founder of AI integration firm Arqa, has started work on the platform, marking the transition from conceptual design to active development. The first production module is targeted for delivery in the third quarter of 2026.

"What makes MCFN-OS different is that it moves software into the background of the work," Thompson said. "Most business tools are systems of record, places to log work after it is already done. This one is the opposite: it is the layer the work actually happens in."

The operating system is designed to provide agentic AI execution, cross-vertical intelligence, Web3-verified identity and provenance, workflow automation, and chat-first interfaces across subsidiaries. Each module will be built on a shared institutional memory and common agent runtime foundation.

Thompson will lead a platform group responsible for AI agent orchestration, knowledge graph engineering, Web3 identity and provenance, workflow automation, and application-layer interfaces.

Auddia entered a definitive merger agreement on February 17, 2026, with Thramann Holdings, a Colorado LLC that owns LT350, Influence Healthcare, and Voyex. Upon completion, Auddia will change its name to McCarthy Finney and trade under ticker MCFN.

The information is based on a company press release statement.
