Athene prices $1B in senior notes due 2036

Athene Holding Ltd. has priced an offering of $1 billion in aggregate principal amount of 6.150% senior notes due 2036, according to a press release from the West Des Moines, Iowa-based company.



The offering is expected to close on August 7, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. Athene said it intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including capital contributions to its insurance subsidiaries to support organic growth.



Wells Fargo Securities, Barclays, BofA Securities, and Citigroup are serving as joint book-running managers for the offering. Apollo Global Securities, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank Securities, Drexel Hamilton, RBC Capital Markets, Siebert Williams Shank, and TD Securities are acting as co-managers.



The notes are being offered under an effective shelf registration statement previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
