Ashford Inc. announced that Chief Financial Officer Deric Eubanks will retire in June after a 23-year career with the company. Eubanks will step down as CFO of Ashford and its advised REITs, Ashford Hospitality Trust Inc. (NYSE: AHT) and Braemar Hotels & Resorts Inc. (NYSE: BHR), effective March 31, 2026.

To ensure continuity, Eubanks will remain with the company as Senior Managing Director through June 30, 2026, assisting with financial and transitional matters. He will continue as an advisor afterward as needed.

Eubanks joined Ashford in 2003 when the company launched Ashford Hospitality Trust and has served as CFO for 12 years. Chairman Monty Bennett noted Eubanks' commitment to completing strategic processes for both Braemar and Ashford Trust during the transition period.

"It has been a remarkable 23-year career, and I could not be more proud of what this team has built," Eubanks said in a statement. "I am committed to supporting the sale process for Braemar and the ongoing asset dispositions at Ashford Trust."

Justin Coe, currently Chief Accounting Officer, will assume the role of Principal Financial Officer for Ashford and its advised REITs after Eubanks' departure. The announcement was made in a company press release.
