Armedia announced it has received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorization for its ArkCase case management platform. The platform incorporates Pentaho Data Integration and Pentaho Business Analytics capabilities.

The Vienna, Virginia-based company said the authorization enables government agencies to use ArkCase for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) processing, legal case management, and investigative workflows. The platform's automated workflows are designed to provide efficiency gains of 40% to 80% in case processing, according to the company.

ArkCase generates 32 detailed reports that agencies must submit annually to the Department of Justice. The platform also includes predictive analytics features to help agencies forecast FOIA request volumes on monthly, quarterly, and annual bases.

"The ability to accurately report on a case management program is vital to its success: it gives managers insight into where there is room for improvement and helps to demonstrate compliance with industry and government regulations and audits," said Ray Azarm, Vice President, Enterprise Practice at Armedia.

Armedia, founded in 2002, operates as a women-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned small business with ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and CMMI-DEV Level 3 certifications. The company has developed ArkCase solutions for legal, investigative, docket management, and workers' compensation use cases beyond FOIA processing.

Pentaho is a business unit of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501) that provides data integration and analytics platforms. The company states it serves more than 73% of Fortune 100 companies.
