Arbe Robotics (NASDAQ: ARBE) announced it has signed a framework collaboration agreement with an unnamed global defense and homeland security system integrator to supply radar systems across three projects, with the possibility of expanding to additional initiatives.
The integrator selected Arbe as its exclusive radar provider for the covered projects following an evaluation of radar and sensing technologies. Initial orders have been placed and first deliveries completed, with additional orders anticipated in 2026 and 2027, according to a company press release.
The agreement extends Arbe's role as a supplier of complete radar systems beyond its chipset business and outside the automotive sector, into defense, homeland security, and infrastructure applications.
"The framework agreement with a leading global defense system integrator marks an important step in Arbe's expansion into high-value verticals beyond automotive," said Ram Machness, CEO of Arbe. "It validates the strength of our radar technology and the need for it in mission-critical environments and demonstrates the broader commercial opportunity for our radar systems, in addition to our chipset offering."
Arbe's radar system uses a proprietary chipset with 48 transmitting and 48 receiving RF channels, supporting 2,304 virtual channels and 4D imaging. The company is headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel, and also operates offices in the United States, Germany, and China.
