Anteris adds two directors to board
Anteris Technologies Global Corp. (NASDAQ: AVR, ASX: AVR) appointed Susan Knight and Stephen Denaro to its board of directors, according to a company statement.
Knight will serve as a Class I director with a term ending at the company's 2028 annual stockholder meeting. She will join the audit and risk committee. Denaro will serve as a Class II director with a term expiring at the 2026 annual meeting.
Knight previously served as board chair of Surmodics Inc., a medical device provider, from 2015 until November 2025. She held various financial executive positions during a 24-year career at Honeywell Inc., including vice president of finance for the home and building control business from 1994 to 2001. Knight later served as chief financial officer and senior vice president at MTS Systems Corporation from 2001 to 2014.
Denaro returns to the Anteris board with prior knowledge of the company's operations and strategic priorities, the statement said.
The Minneapolis and Brisbane-based company develops medical devices for structural heart conditions. Its primary product, the DurAVR transcatheter heart valve, is designed to treat aortic stenosis through a balloon-expandable system that uses the company's ADAPT tissue technology.
The appointments come as Anteris conducts its global pivotal trial for the DurAVR device and prepares for potential regulatory approvals in the United States and Europe.
