Analyst flags 9 bargain stocks in a ‘Black Friday’-style dip
Investing.com -- Wolfe Research says the recent market pullback has created a “Black Friday Bargains” opportunity for investors willing to look past shaky charts and focus on solid fundamentals.
Analyst Rob Ginsberg writes: “Who doesn’t love a good deal?” Adding that while strong performers have their place, “sometimes it pays to go bottom fishing.”
To build the list, Wolfe Research screened for stocks under its coverage that carry an Outperform rating, offer “greater than 20% upside to the price target,” and are “oversold technically, and trading at or above identifiable support.”
The result, Ginsberg says, is a list of nine names with robust fundamentals that “have gone on sale of late.”
Axon is approaching “support… at $500,” and while oversold conditions haven’t mattered yet, Wolfe says it’s “worth a shot with a tight $500 stop.”
Meanwhile, Live Nation sits at a “30% drawdown,” with Wolfe warning that if it fails to stabilise at $120, it could break below $110.
Palo Alto Networks offers what Wolfe calls one of its “favorite types of setups: oversold within an uptrend,” with $180 a key level.
Oracle, now “45% off its Sept high,” is nearing major support, though Wolfe cautions: “Lose $180 and we’re cutting our losses.”
Uber has hit six-month lows, but Wolfe points to “significant price memory at $80.”
DoorDash is “trying to find its footing above $180,” a level that previously acted as a consolidation zone.
The firm added that Formula One Group faces a decisive moment at the “$95–93” support band, while Zscaler is showing “exactly what we want to see,” holding its 200-day moving average.
Arista Networks rounds out the list; Wolfe calls it “a bargain we’re buying,” with “$140+ in play over the near term if relief persists.”
