Alpha Modus Corp., a subsidiary of Alpha Modus Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: AMOD), filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Lowe's Companies Inc. and Lowe's Home Centers LLC in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas on October 14.

The complaint alleges infringement of six U.S. patents covering AI-driven retail technologies including real-time inventory management, customer assistance, personalized advertising, store layout optimization, and behavioral data analytics. The patents are numbered 10,977,672, 11,042,890, 11,301,880, 11,049,120, 12,026,731, and 12,039,550.

Alpha Modus claims Lowe's systems including its Dwell heat-mapping platform, Axis/Genetec camera network, Store Digital Twin, One Roof Media Network, Mylow Companion AI application, and Innovation Labs initiatives infringe its patented technologies. These systems operate across more than 1,700 U.S. retail locations.

The lawsuit targets technologies that use image recognition and behavioral data for inventory management, deliver personalized promotions based on shopper behavior, optimize store layouts through traffic analytics, and integrate AI-driven personalization with digital marketing systems.

According to the press release, this case represents part of Alpha Modus's broader intellectual property enforcement campaign against companies using AI and computer-vision retail solutions without licensing agreements. The company has filed similar cases against other national retailers and technology providers.

Alpha Modus, headquartered in Cornelius, North Carolina, develops and licenses AI technologies for retail analytics and behavioral intelligence systems.
