August 20, 2025 6:01 AM EDT

Alaska Airlines (NYSE: ALK) and Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) announced the launch of the Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite card, a premium credit card targeting global travelers. The card carries a $395 annual fee and offers a sign-up bonus of 100,000 points after spending $6,000 within 90 days.

The card introduces a Global Companion Award benefit, allowing cardholders to earn up to two companion awards annually. The 25,000-point award is earned after qualifying spend and each anniversary, while a 100,000-point award requires $60,000 in annual spending. These awards can be used across Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, oneworld alliance partners, and other global partners in any class of service.

Cardholders earn three points per dollar on eligible dining and foreign purchases, plus Alaska and Hawaiian purchases. Bank of America account holders receive an additional 10% rewards bonus on all card purchases. The card provides eight annual Alaska Lounge passes, valued at over $500.

For status advancement, every $2 spent earns one status point, with 10,000 bonus status points awarded annually starting from the first anniversary. Cardholders can achieve Atmos Silver status with $20,000 in qualifying spend.

Additional benefits include free checked bags for the cardholder and up to six guests, preferred boarding on Alaska flights, waived same-day flight change fees, and instant $50 vouchers for flight delays exceeding two hours or cancellations within 24 hours.

The card allows point transfers to hotel partner programs and free point sharing among up to 10 Atmos Rewards members. Alaska Airlines also rebranded its existing Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card to the Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature card, maintaining current benefits including the $99 Companion Fare.

The announcement coincides with Alaska Airlines' launch of its enhanced loyalty program, Atmos Rewards, which replaces miles with points and elite-qualifying miles with status points.
