Airbus delivers 793 aircraft in 2025, orders reach 1,000

Investing.com -- Airbus delivered 793 commercial aircraft to 91 customers globally in 2025, representing a 4% increase compared to the previous year.

The European aerospace manufacturer recorded 1,000 gross orders from 57 customers during the year, or 889 net orders after accounting for cancellations. These included 49 A220s, 656 A320s, 100 A330neo, two A330 MRTTs, and 193 A350s.

Airbus ended the year with a record overall order backlog of 8,754 aircraft, including a record widebody backlog of 1,124 aircraft, highlighting strong market demand for its product portfolio.

The company achieved these results despite what it described as a "continued complex and dynamic operating environment." Airbus had previously revised its delivery goal to around 790 jets from an initial target of 820 due to issues with a Spanish fuselage parts supplier.

By aircraft family, Airbus delivered 93 A220 Family aircraft (up from 75 in 2024), 607 A320 Family aircraft (up from 602), 36 A330 Family aircraft (up from 32), and 57 A350 Family aircraft (unchanged from 2024).

The company’s American rival, Boeing, delivered 537 jets and secured 1,000 gross orders (908 net after cancellations) between January and November, with full-year data set for release Tuesday.
