Ainos partners with Trusval for semiconductor AI nose distribution

January 7, 2026 8:34 AM EST

Ainos Inc. (NASDAQ: AIMD) announced a distribution and deployment agreement with Taiwan-based Trusval Technology to expand its AI Nose platform into semiconductor front-end manufacturing applications.

Under the partnership, Trusval will serve as Ainos' authorized sales agent and deployment partner for AI Nose technology in semiconductor front-end manufacturing environments. The agreement includes an initial minimum purchase commitment of 600 AI Nose units for deployment across front-end wafer fabrication facilities.

The AI Nose platform digitizes scent into what the company calls Smell ID, using MEMS sensor arrays and proprietary algorithms for parts-per-billion level scent detection. The technology converts analog scent signals into structured data and uses a Smell Language Model to classify scent patterns.

"Front-end semiconductor manufacturing environments demand exceptionally high reliability and real-time situational awareness," said Chuchiao Kung, CEO of Trusval Technology. "AI Nose introduces a new sensing intelligence layer into existing wafer fab systems."

Eddy Tsai, Chairman, President, and CEO of Ainos, stated: "By forming clearly structured, contractually defined partnerships, we are expanding the AI Nose ecosystem into environments where data quality matters most."

The partnership extends Ainos' presence in semiconductor manufacturing, complementing existing collaborations in back-end processes. The company positions itself as a dual-platform AI and biotech company that also develops VELDONA, an oral interferon treatment for rare diseases.

Ainos offers AI Nose under a SmellTech-as-a-Service model through subscription-based deployments for continuous monitoring and predictive analysis in industrial environments.
