Agomab proposes two new board members ahead of shareholder vote

Agomab Therapeutics NV (Nasdaq: AGMB) has proposed appointing Marino Garcia and Naimish Patel, M.D. as non-executive members of its board of directors, according to a company statement. The appointments are subject to shareholder approval at a Special General Meeting scheduled for September 11, 2026, in Antwerp, Belgium.



Garcia currently serves as president, chief executive officer, and board member of Dianthus Therapeutics (Nasdaq: DNTH). He has previously held senior roles at Zealand Pharma, Synergy Pharmaceuticals, Aptalis Pharma, and Aspreva Pharmaceuticals, as well as commercial and strategic positions at Merck, Pfizer, and Eli Lilly.



Dr. Patel currently serves as chief medical officer of CRISPR Therapeutics (Nasdaq: CRSP). Before that role, he held senior positions at Sanofi, where he led the company's global immunology and inflammation development organization. He has also held leadership positions at AstraZeneca and Vertex Pharmaceuticals and served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.



Agomab also announced a separate Extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting on the same date to seek approval for a consolidation and split of outstanding pre-IPO warrants. The adjustment would reflect the share split implemented during Agomab's IPO in February 2026. Both meetings are scheduled for 2:30 PM CEST on September 11, 2026.
