ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ON) & Synaptics (NASDAQ: SYNA)

ON Semiconductor shares dropped 7% after announcing a definitive agreement to acquire Synaptics in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $7 billion. Meanwhile, Synaptics shares surged 10% on the news, reflecting the 19% premium baked into the fixed exchange ratio of 1.350 onsemi shares for each Synaptics share. The major chip consolidation aims to blend onsemi's power and sensing portfolios with Synaptics' interface and connectivity tech.

Rocket Lab Corporation (NASDAQ: RKLB)

Rocket Lab stock rose 5% following the announcement that NASA has selected the company to conduct three dedicated Electron rocket launches for two upcoming science missions. Scheduled for 2027 out of New Zealand, the contract covers two back-to-back launches for the PolSIR atmospheric ice-cloud mission and a separate launch for the TSIS-2 solar sensor mission. The win reinforces Rocket Lab's growing reputation for precise, rapid-turnaround small-satellite deployments.

DLH Holdings (NASDAQ: DLHC)

DLH Holdings shares jumped 10% after securing a prime spot on a multi-award, U.S. Navy IDIQ contract with a combined ceiling of $250 million over five years. The company will compete for task orders to provide advanced logistics information technology, agile DevSecOps pipeline support, and systems modernization. This major defense win provided a much-needed catalyst for the federal IT services provider.
