After-Hours Movers:
Workday (NASDAQ: WDAY)
Workday shares dropped 5% after hours despite beating fiscal Q2 expectations. The enterprise cloud application provider posted an adjusted EPS of $2.75 on revenue of $2.65 billion. However, investor sentiment was weighed down by subscription revenue guidance for Q3 fiscal 2027 of $2.515 billion (12% growth), which pointed to a modest deceleration in core enterprise software seat expansions.
Autodesk (NASDAQ: ADSK)
Autodesk fell 6% following the release of its Q2 financial results. The design and engineering software maker delivered a solid top- and bottom-line beat with an adjusted EPS of $3.30 on $2.05 billion in revenue. However, full-year fiscal 2027 EPS guidance of $12.52–$12.60 came in at the midpoint below analyst expectations, raising concerns over near-term commercial real estate and construction design billings.
SentinelOne, Inc. (NYSE: S)
SentinelOne slid 3% despite topping Q2 top- and bottom-line estimates with an EPS of $0.08 on $292 million in revenue. The cybersecurity vendor issued downbeat fiscal 2027 guidance, projecting full-year EPS of $0.30–$0.32 (trailing the $0.35 analyst consensus), as competitive pricing pressures in endpoint protection and elongated deal-closing cycles continue to limit margin expansion.
Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK)
Rubrik shares tumbled 10% in a classic "sell-the-news" reaction despite delivering a massive Q2 beat-and-raise. The cloud data security company posted non-GAAP EPS of $0.20 (beating the $0.04 consensus by $0.16) on $427.3 million in revenue, while boosting full-year sales guidance to $1.69 billion. High valuation metrics heading into the print and profit-taking after a 30% year-to-date run-up triggered the post-earnings pullback.
Marvell Technology (NASDAQ: MRVL)
Marvell Technology fell 2% following its Q2 release. The chipmaker reported an adjusted EPS of $0.94 on revenue of $2.74 billion, edging out Wall Street targets. While management issued strong Q3 revenue guidance of $3.15 billion (above the $3.04 billion consensus) on booming custom AI ASIC demand, inline Q3 EPS targets ($1.05–$1.10 vs. $1.08 expected) prompted short-term profit-taking.
Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ: ULTA)
Ulta Beauty rose 2% after delivering a clean Q2 beat, posting an EPS of $6.55 (topping the $6.17 estimate) on $3.0 billion in revenue. The specialty beauty retailer reaffirmed its full-year fiscal 2027 EPS outlook of $28.70–$29.00, reassuring investors that prestige beauty demand and loyalty program engagement remain resilient despite broader consumer spending chop.
The Gap, Inc. (NYSE: GAP)
Gap stock surged 9% after beating second-quarter earnings expectations with an EPS of $0.52 on $3.7 billion in revenue. The apparel retailer issued upbeat full-year fiscal 2026 EPS guidance of $2.35–$2.45, reflecting improved gross margins, inventory discipline, and turnaround momentum across its Old Navy and Gap brand divisions.
Affirm Holdings (NASDAQ: AFRM)
Affirm shares surged in post-market trading after crushing fiscal Q4 expectations, reporting an EPS of $4.62—drastically outpacing the $0.85 analyst consensus—on revenue of $1.17 billion. The buy-now-pay-later (BNPL) platform also issued strong near-term top-line guidance for Q1, projecting revenue of $1.19–$1.22 billion (clearing Wall Street estimates of $1.17 billion) as expanding merchant network deals and higher transaction volume continue to drive gross merchandise volume (GMV) growth.
