After-Hours Movers:

CoreWeave (NASDAQ: CRWV) & Nebius Group (NASDAQ: NBIS)

CoreWeave surged 9% after reporting a smaller-than-expected Q2 loss of ($1.14) per share on revenue of $2.58 billion. Shareholder enthusiasm was further fueled by a massive revenue backlog of approximately $104 billion as of June 30, which does not yet include over $25 billion in additional Q3 commitments. Peer AI cloud infrastructure provider Nebius Group climbed 4.5% in sympathy.

Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ: SMCI)

Supermicro shares jumped 8% following full Q4 fiscal 2026 earnings that delivered adjusted EPS of $1.70 on $11.12 billion in revenue. While revenue came in near the low end of July's preliminary update, management issued explosive Q1 fiscal 2027 revenue guidance of $14.5B–$15.5B (well above the $11.99B Wall Street consensus) and projected full-year revenue up to $72 billion on record server order backlogs.

Lumentum Holdings (NASDAQ: LITE)

Lumentum traded virtually flat (-0.2%) despite posting a strong Q4 beat ($3.23 EPS vs. $2.95 expected on $1.01 billion in revenue) and issuing upbeat Q1 fiscal 2027 targets. Management projected Q1 revenue between $1.23 billion and $1.27 billion alongside EPS of $4.05–$4.35, but recent gains across optical networking components left shares hovering near breakeven.

CAVA Group (NYSE: CAVA)

CAVA rose 11% after reporting Q2 EPS of $0.19 in line with analyst estimates and revenues of $365.4 million, beating expectations. The Mediterranean fast-casual chain reaffirmed its full-year 2026 outlook, projecting same-restaurant sales growth of 4.5% to 6.5% and 75 to 77 net new restaurant openings as unit economics remain firm.

H&R Block (NYSE: HRB)

H&R Block jumped 12% following a Q4 beat, posting an EPS of $2.38 on $1.14 billion in revenue. The tax preparation provider also issued confident fiscal year 2027 guidance, projecting full-year EPS of $6.04–$6.24 on revenues up to $4.16 billion, easily topping Wall Street expectations due to steady pricing power and expanding DIY tax software adoption.
