Aegis announces partner rebranding and board appointment

Aegis Critical Energy Defence Corp. (CSE: QESS) (OTCQB: QESSF) announced that its strategic energy partner has rebranded from Malahat Battery Technologies Corp. to Malahat Energy Systems Inc. The company stated the new name reflects an expanded focus on integrated energy systems and advanced storage technologies.



As part of the transition, Ramtin Rasoulinezhad has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Malahat Energy Systems Inc., according to the press release. The company said Rasoulinezhad brings expertise in energy systems and commercialization.



Aegis also highlighted that Quantum eMotion Corp. (TSXV: QNC) (OTCQB: QNCCF) has filed its Form 40-F registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission toward listing its common shares on the NYSE American exchange.



The companies have collaborated on the launch of Tough Bhoy, described as a quantum-secured energy storage system for extreme environments and mission-critical operations.



Aegis announced several partnerships integrating Quantum eMotion's quantum-security technologies into energy systems. These include co-development of quantum-secured battery energy storage systems with Malahat Energy Systems Inc., with pre-orders for 261 kWh systems scheduled for delivery in early 2026.



Additional partnerships include work with SuperQ Quantum Computing Inc. (CSE: QBTQ) (OTCQB: QBTQF) on hybrid quantum-classical optimization for energy-management efficiency, and collaboration with SEETEL New Energy (TWSE: 7740) on UL-certified hybrid battery energy storage systems with integrated quantum security for data centers, utilities, and marine applications.
