Accel Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: ACEL) announced the election of Bruce D. Wardinski as an independent director to its board of directors. Wardinski will serve on the board's Compensation Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
Wardinski brings more than 35 years of experience in building and scaling growth businesses, with expertise in capital allocation, real estate investment, strategic finance and corporate governance. He founded Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. in 2006 and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer through its acquisition by Hyatt Hotels Corporation in June 2025.

Accel Entertainment operates as a gaming provider supporting nearly 28,000 electronic gaming terminals in over 4,500 third-party establishments and 20 self-operated gaming locations across ten states. The company serves licensed non-casino locations including bars, restaurants, convenience stores and truck stops through exclusive long-term contracts.
Wardinski holds a bachelor's degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
