AMTD IDEA receives NYSE non-compliance notice over ADS price

August 7, 2026 4:01 PM EDT

AMTD IDEA Group (NYSE: AMTD; SGX: HKB) announced it received a notice from the New York Stock Exchange stating the company is below compliance standards due to the trading price of its American depositary shares falling under the exchange's minimum threshold.

Under Section 802.01C of the NYSE Listed Company Manual, a company is considered non-compliant when the average closing price of its security falls below $1.00 over a consecutive 30 trading-day period. AMTD IDEA has six months from receipt of the notice to regain compliance.

The company can return to compliance during that period if, on the last trading day of any calendar month, its ADS closing price is at least $1.00 and the average closing price over the preceding 30 trading days is also at least $1.00. If both conditions are not met by the end of the six-month cure period, the NYSE will begin suspension and delisting procedures.

The company said it intends to monitor market conditions and consider measures to address the non-compliance. As of Aug. 7, 2026, AMTD IDEA had repurchased 4,417,036 ADSs under existing repurchase programs.
