AMTD Digital subsidiary TGE signs hotel deals worth $300 million

The Generation Essentials Group (NYSE: TGE), a subsidiary of AMTD Digital Inc. (NYSE: HKD), executed a sales and purchase agreement to acquire the Hilton Garden Inn New York City Tribeca for 100% ownership, according to a company statement.

The hotel, located in Lower Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood, features 151 rooms, more than 5,000 square feet of retail space for food and beverage operations, a rooftop area, fitness center and business center. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions.

TGE completed definitive acquisition agreements for three hotels following its de-SPAC transaction with Black Spade Capital. The deals involve assets with a total valuation exceeding $300 million and are expected to expand TGE's hotel portfolio by approximately 500 rooms within six months if completed.

The company announced four acquisition deals in major cities during 2025. TGE operates as a diversified portfolio of media and entertainment businesses and maintains a global portfolio of premium properties.
